The Innocents
Polen, vintern 1945. Mathilde Beaulieu är en ung kvinna som arbetar på det franska Röda Korset. De är på ett uppdrag för att hitta, behandla och repatriera franska överlevande från de tyska lägren. En dag anländer en polsk nunna till sjukhuset och ber Mathilde att komma till hennes kloster. Mathildes liv och tro förändras när hon upptäcker att flera av systrarna i klostret är gravida efter att de blivit våldtagna av soldater från Röda armén.
