The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas
Brunos pappa är officer i tyska armén under andra världskriget. Pappan blir förflyttad från Berlin ut till landet och hela familjen flyttar in i en ny tjänstebostad intill det koncentrationsläger som pappan blivit kommendant över. Bruno blir vän med en jämnårig pojke i lägret, men är för liten för att förstå vad som pågår omkring honom. Det gör däremot modern som bestämmer sig för att ta barnen med sig och lämna sin man. Samma dag som de ska åka tar sig Bruno in i koncentrationslägret för att leta efter sin väns far, utklädd till fånge...
