Outside the Law
Efter att ha förlorat sin familj hemma i Algeriet är tre bröder och deras mor utspridda över hela världen. Messaoud ansluter sig till franska armén i striderna i Indokina, Abdelkader blir ledare för den algeriska självständighetsrörelsen i Frankrike och Saïd flyttar till Paris för att göra sin lycka i skuggiga klubbar och boxningssalar i Pigalle. Så småningom sammankopplas deras öden och återförenar dem i den franska huvudstaden, där frihet är en kamp som måste utkämpas och vinnas.
