Evil Under the Sun
Året är 1938. Platsen: ett lyxhotell på en idyllisk ö i Adriatiska havet. Här har gräddan av Hollywoods elit och den brittiska aristokratin samlats. Och till sällskapet sällar sig en rundhult, oklanderligt ekiperad gentleman med omisskännlig fransk accent: Hercule Poirot - den världsberömde detektiven. Han är också här för att avnjuta sin ledighet, men snart blir han varse om att Döden aldrig tar semester. Snart hittas den lika förföriska som outhärdliga filmstjärnan Arlene livlös på en enslig strand - strypt till döds. Det finns nio misstänkta. Nio olika motiv. Men också nio vattentäta alibin. Och inte ens Hercule Poirot går fri från misstanke...
